A question about falling into a black hole.

Anything that approaches and crosses the event horizon will be accelerated to close to the speed of light. So time will slow for the object, relative to the surrounding universe. As the object approaches the speed of light, time dilation may get so high that the object will not reach the singularity until a time near the end of the universe (if there is such a thing).
