I completely agree, Lila.

Sexuality is often not politically correct, especially when it comes to kink. Also, sexuality is often impossible to change. One might wish for more politically correct turn-ons, but you can no more change this than someone can change being gay.

Embracing your sexuality is a path to leading a fulfilled life. This may mean doing things in the bedroom that are not politically correct, like being a "naughty girl" and getting a spanking from your male lover.

Power exchange is complicated and ebbs and flows in different contexts. Being submissive in the bedroom does not mean being submissive in the boardroom or the rest of your life.

Powerful men are often the clients of dominatrixes. They give up power and control with the dominatrix. They don't worry that this means that they are submissive in other contexts. If men can do this, feminist women should be able to do this as well.
