Imagine a thick-necked schoolyard bully with a crewcut and a body like a fire plug. The bully pushes you in the chest and says "Oh yeah, what are you going to do about it?"

That's Trump, a criminal indicted on multiple serious felony counts.

The courts cannot enforce their rulings since there is no one that can (or will) do this. Trump will be able to ignore court orders with impunity since this is the impunity presidency. Trump is intent on ruling like a tyrant and so far it looks like he and his minion Musk are getting away with it.

In all this darkness there is one ray of possible hope. If the Democrats get a significant majority in the House and a majority in the Senate after the midterm elections they can impeach Trump (yet again). After two years of the tyranny of Trump, there may be enough Republican votes in the Senate to remove him from office.

If this doesn't happen it is an open question regarding what will be left of the United States as we know it.
