Indeed the United States has not internalized the fact that we are in a (cold) war with Russia.

I was in Tokyo recently. There we Russians staying at the same hotel I was staying at.

I was surprised that Japan allows Russian tourists. I was even more surprised to discover that the United States allows Russian tourists.

Given the long history of Russian subversion and espionage, it would be wise for the US and its allies to ban Russian tourists.
