On your criticism of Biden: I think that Biden's caution is based on the fear that if Russia is losing and sees NATO and the US as the proximate cause because of advanced weapons, Putin will use nuclear weapons. Then we're all in a very bad place.

As it has turned out, China seems to be the main brake on Russia doing something crazy like using nukes. The "red lines" that Putin implied have been crossed and the world is still here. But no one really knows what will happen if Putin is pushed to the wall, where is own survival is at risk.
