Reading Brian's post I wondered if many Russians understand what Putin has done to Russia. From what I have read, they do not. They believe in the Great Russia, a country that could not build a modern computer processor chip.

Putin has resurrected the Cold War. Russia will not be trusted by its neighbors, who are all members of NATO. There will be a whole generation that has been shown that the Cold War was not overblown, but a reasonable response to Russia. The days of international cooperation with Russia are gone.

Do they understand that Putin is the gravedigger of Russia? Their only hope is that Trump will save them.
