When it comes to Russian losses of personnel and equipment most people tend to look at this through the lens of other countries.
Historically Russia has absorbed huge losses. In the fight for Stalingrad some of the troops didn't even have guns. Russian generals just threw them into the meat grinder.
Russia under Putin has stopped being anything like a European country. They seem to be willing to absorb huge losses, in a sheep like fashion, just as they did under Stalin.
Sadly this suggests that Russia's huge losses are not the harbinger of Russia leaving Ukraine.
