Yandex has often been described as the "Google of Russia", a country that brutally attacked a neighboring country killing tens of thousands of civilians.

In order to survive as a company, Yandex has had to cooperate with the FSB (the successor to the KGB). Any technology that is released by Yandex could be compromised and infected with trojans or malware.

Hopefully, the hardware technology that is discussed in this post will be difficult to continue in the future because of the technology embargo on Russia.

Russia's savage war in Ukraine has made them a pariah. Anyone who considers collaboration with a Russian company or research group should consider this.
